We received a letter from VSP today with this news.
"The federal government has selected VSP as one of three vision care plans to offer to its employees, eligible dependents, and retirees nationwide. This translates to eight million potential members ordering prescription lenses from the VSP network doctors you serve.

The plan will be a new variation of VSP 's Signature Plan, offering coverage for vision examinations, eyeglasses, or contact lenses. These benefits will be active on December 31, 2006 with employee enrollment in November and December 2006. Additional information will be provided to you in July."
